We collaborated with one of our favorite creatives in the DMV, Drew “Droopy the Broke Baller” Anderson on this music video project. He’s been working on a new album and shared a song with us that we really liked. The song also featured the musical talents of Christylez Bacon, another Park Triangle creative collaborator. We were looking to use no more than four half days for production and rely on a subtle approach to storytelling. On this project, we used the Blackmagic Design Ursa 4k, Sony A7r ii and a 3DR Solo Drone with a GoPro Hero4 Black Edition to record the footage. We integrated an EZ-FX Jib and a Rhino slider to give the footage some extra movement. After adding a playful graphical treatment that included “live emojis”, thought bubbles and tracking text, we were finished with a week’s worth of postproduction.
