Harmony is a starving artist—starving to be recognized, respected and to feel a sense of belonging in her hometown of Pittsburgh, Pa. Harmony’s art and life are haunted by the ghosts of her past. She lives in the home of her grandmother, Betty, who is in a nursing home on her deathbed.
